Raise a child
who can't be fooled.
Truth Ranger is an AI-powered critical thinking academy for children aged 8–14. They learn to reason logically, spot misinformation, and argue fairly — through fun debates with Coach Terra. In a world of viral posts, online misinformation, and AI-generated content — the most important skill you can give your child isn't a subject. It's the ability to think for themselves.
Why This Matters
We live in the age of misinformation.
Your child will encounter false claims, manipulative arguments, and misleading statistics every single day. Schools teach subjects. Almost no one teaches children how to think.
Social feeds & viral claims
Kids encounter bold claims on social media, group chats, and YouTube every day — often with no source and no context.
AI-generated noise
Text, images, and videos can look authoritative even when they are wrong. Knowing how to question matters.
Thinking, not just subjects
Schools cover math, science, and language — but structured argument and media literacy rarely get dedicated time.
The Curriculum
Six skills. One Academy. Lifelong impact.
Every level teaches a real, tangible skill — not just trivia. These are the building blocks of independent thinking.
Spot Fake News
Distinguish facts from opinions, and learn why "someone said so" is never enough.
Logical Reasoning
Understand what makes an argument strong — and how to catch one that isn't.
Identify Fallacies
Recognize strawmen, whataboutism, slippery slopes, and other tricks used to mislead.
Read Data Critically
As they advance, kids learn to question statistics and spot misleading numbers.
Think About the World
Debate real global issues — climate, inequality, education — in an age-appropriate way.
Argue in Good Faith
It's not about winning. It's about being fair, honest, and genuinely curious.
How It Works
From Recruit to Guardian
A structured journey through four ranks — with two learning paths for younger and older kids (ages 8–14).
Take the Truth Ranger Pledge
Your child commits to seeking truth and arguing fairly. A quick setup — name, age group, and account — and they join the Ranger Troop.
Learn, Then Debate
Short interactive lessons with quick quizzes introduce each idea. Then they debate Coach Terra on real topics — and can save & pause anytime.
Rise Through the Ranks
Every debate earns XP and badges. Kids rise from Recruit toward Guardian as they practise. You get a private parent link to follow progress.

The AI Coach
Meet Coach Terra 🌲
Coach Terra is your child's personal debate trainer — patient, encouraging, and just challenging enough to make them think harder.
- Asks Socratic questions — never just gives answers
- Occasionally uses a bad argument on purpose — so your child learns to catch it
- Adapts to your child's age group and celebrates when they use solid reasoning
- Ends every session with specific, warm feedback — not just "good job"
Great start!
You said homework should be optional. If it were optional, do you think most students would still do it? Why or why not?
I think some students would, if they actually found it useful. But when it's just copying stuff we already know, it feels pointless.
Nice distinction!
You're separating all homework from pointless homework. What would make homework useful enough that you'd choose to do it?
